Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Yii Developer to join our development team in Kolkata. The candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP development using the Yii Framework and be capable of developing, maintaining and improving web applications.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of MVC architecture, database management, API integration and standard web-development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the Yii Framework.
• Write clean, secure, reusable and efficient PHP code.
• Design and manage MySQL databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Test applications and improve performance and functionality.
• Coordinate with developers, designers and other team members.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.
• Participate in application updates and feature development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in PHP development.
• Practical experience working with the Yii Framework.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.
• Basic knowledge of application security and performance optimisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yii2 will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Bootstrap, jQuery or AJAX will be an advantage.
• Candidates based in Kolkata or willing to work from the Kolkata office will be preferred.
